Ronnie James Dio and the things he brought into memory
Rainbow Vocalist 1975-79
Born in 42 (older than my dad )...
Son of an itallian family in USA...
The soul father of holiest voice&therefore song "Holydiver"... Anyone haven't listen at least once ? He sang at Elf, Rainbow, and surely Blacksabbath which undoubtely is one of the first and biggest Heavy Metal band.
Lyrics is the most important part of a song to me. However much it is a brillant song with beautiful melody&rthym to your ears; Without meaningful lyrics, it s almost nothing 2 me. Just after 2 -3 times, then the song becomes boring&ordinary and I chucked it backs of my memory. Apart from my trash&Heavy metal history, it s one of the reason why I like to listen Blind Guardian...( a link to fanstasy Lit. ) ..and Pearl Jam, and it's because of the same reason why I dont like Nirvana at all...
I've decided to revisit my old music taste, the songs&band used to make me "the other"back at those years, and it s glad to see I still -still- love them all....Time can't change everything appearently...
I listened a Rainbow album after long years, I'd forgetten how stimulating the song is....
There are some examps of what I used to listen mostly at the last years of lycee and very first years of my first Uni. I say "First Uni" Because I have had alottttt:)
Man on the Silver Mountain
I'm a wheel, I'm a wheel
I can roll, I can feel
And you can't stop me turning
'cause I'm the sun, I'm the sun
I can move, I can run
But you'll never stop me burning
come down with fire
Lift my spirit higher
Someone's screaming my name
Come and make me holy again
I'm the man on the silver mountain
I'm the man on the silver mountain
